EMPOWERING WOMEN’S ERG LEADERS THROUGH COMMUNITY AND COLLABORATION
Women in Work is committed to creating a community where leaders of women’s employee resource groups (ERGs, BRGs, WIN, etc.) across organizations can connect, share resources, and support one another.
An ERG for the leaders of ERGs if you will!
Leading an Employee Resource Group is a unique opportunity to support an underrepresented, undervalued, or unrecognized group of people with an important trait(s) in common. Research has shown effective ERGs help boost feelings of inclusion for traditionally underrepresented segments of workers, improves attraction and retention of employees who identify with these segments, and increases representation of diverse talent.
So aside from being a moral imperative, ERGs offer organizations a competitive advantage.
Yet ERG leaders typically have full time jobs and whereas they may receive some support from their organization, the bulk of the responsibility to successfully oversee an ERG falls to them. Women and Work is here to help with FREE resources, networking events and virtual programming. Join WiW’s Women’s ERG Leaders Group to access the resources and community you need to lead successfully.
